I Believe in the Second Amendment.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton recently announced the Obama Administration will be working hand-in-glove with the UN to pass a new “Small Arms Treaty.”

Ultimately, the UN Small Arms Treaty is designed to register, ban and CONFISCATE firearms owned by private citizens.

This is the administrations way of not attacking the Constitution, but agreeing with a "Treaty" and setting up the 2nd Amendment to be shot down by radical judges in later court battles.

Here are a few helpful insights I have observed:

1.Don't pick a fight with an old man. If he is too old to fight, he'll just shoot you.

2. I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.

3. When seconds count, the cops are just minutes away.

4. A reporter did a human-interest piece on the Texas Rangers. The reporter recognized the Colt Model 1911 the Ranger was carrying and asked him 'Why do you carry a 45?' The Ranger responded, 'Because they don't make a 46.'

5. The old sheriff was attending an awards dinner when a lady commented on his wearing his sidearm 'Sheriff, I see you have your pistol. Are you expecting trouble?'
'No Ma'am. If I were expecting trouble, I would have brought my shotgun.'

6 Beware the man who only carries one gun. HE PROBABLY KNOWS HOW TO USE IT!!!

But wait, there's more!

I was once asked by a lady visiting if I had a gun in the house. I said I did. She said 'Well I certainly hope it isn't loaded!' To which I said, of course it is loaded, it can't work without bullets!' She then asked, 'Are you that afraid of someone evil coming into your house?' My reply was, “No not at all. I am not afraid of the house catching fire either, but I have fire extinguishers around, and they are all loaded too”.

I'm a firm believer of the 2nd Amendment!

It is a political right of the deepest importance to the survival of freedom in America.” -Newt Gingrich

Abbot and Costello on Unemployment

Don't who did this, but it was good.

COSTELLO: I want to talk about the unemployment rate.
ABBOTT: Good Subject. Terrible Times. It's 9%.

COSTELLO: That many people are out of work?
ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.

COSTELLO: But you just said 9%.

ABBOTT: 9% Unemployed.

COSTELLO: Right 9% out of work.

ABBOTT: No, that's 16%.

COSTELLO: Okay, so it's 16% unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, that's 9%...

COSTELLO: WAIT A MINUTE! Is it 9% or 16%?

ABBOTT: 9% are unemployed. 16% are out of work.

COSTELLO: IF you are out of work you are unemployed.

ABBOTT: No, you can't count the "Out of Work" as the unemployed. You have to look for work to be unemployed.

COSTELLO: BUT THEY ARE OUT OF WORK!!!

ABBOTT: No, you miss my point.

COSTELLO: What point?

ABBOTT: Someone who doesn't look for work, can't be counted with those who look for work. It wouldn't be fair. [OBAMA calls them :discouraged" workers.]

COSTELLO: To who?

ABBOTT: To the unemployed.

COSTELLO: But they are ALL out of work.

ABBOTT: No, the unemployed are actively looking for work. Those who are out of work stopped looking. They gave up. And, if you give up, you are no longer in the ranks of the unemployed.

COSTELLO: So, if you're off the unemployment roles, that would count as less unemployment?

ABBOTT: Unemployment would go down. Absolutely!
COSTELLO: The unemployment just goes down because you don't look for work?

ABBOTT: Absolutely it goes down. That's how you get to 9%. Otherwise it would be 16%. You don't want to read about 16% unemployment, do ya?

COSTELLO: That would be frightening.

ABBOTT: Absolutely.

COSTELLO: Wait, I got a question for you. That means there are two ways to bring down the unemployment number?

ABBOTT: Two ways is correct.

COSTELLO: Unemployment can go down if someone gets a job?

ABBOTT: Correct.

COSTELLO: And unemployment can also go down if you stop looking for a job?

ABBOTT: Bingo!!!

COSTELLO: So there are two ways to bring unemployment down, and the easier of the two is to just stop looking for work.

ABBOTT: Now you're thinking like an economist.

COSTELLO: I don't even know what the hell I just said!

And now you know why Obama's unemployment figures are improving!

Obama's American Apology Tour. Never before in American history has its president gone before so many foreign audiences to apologize for so many American misdeeds, both real and imagined.

Barack Obama is just another Jimmy Carter, no he is worse.

Obama can't run on record, so he's creating villains.

Obama's immigration policies ignore the law.

Obama canceled virtual border fence' project with no replacement or indeed concern for border security."

Obama wrongly attacked Arizona's immigration law. Obama’s attack on Arizona for that state's exercise of its sovereign legislative authority on the issue of citizen identification rules.

US foreign policy has generally been a mess under Obama.

The 'fast and furious' scandal shows negligence.

Attempt to close Guantanamo, try terrorists in NYC.

Bowing to the Saudi King and the Japanese emperor.

Returning the bust of Churchill to Great Britain.

Removing missile shields from Poland, Czech Republic. Backing the would-be dictator of Honduras when that nation's Supreme Court rightfully removed him from office

Failure to advocate for free trade agreements with Columbia, Panama and South Korea.

Indecisiveness in Afghanistan. The Obama Project: "Indecision on Afghanistan surge coupled with announcement of eventual withdrawal." Obama does not listen to any General on what is best for the soldiers safety.

Incoherence in Egypt. The Obama Project: "Incoherence on Egypt, most obviously with the dispatch of Frank Wizner and then rejection of Wizner's advice vis-a-vis Mubarak." Now the Muslim Brotherhood will be ruling in Egypt calling for the rejection of the 30 year Israel Peace Treaty

Filling out college basketball bracket during ME unrest. The Obama Project: "Dabbling in basketball brackets while the Middle East fell into chaos and the gas prices skyrocketed." By the way he did not pick the winner. Obama has a habit of picking Losers.

Failure to support Iran's Green Revolution.

Failure to support Syrian revolution. The Muslim Brotherhood will take over in Syria.

The Libyan Fiasco. The Muslim Brotherhood will take over Libya.

Enemies believe Obama is weak, soft and won't retaliate.

Obama has rolled back religious liberties.

Obama's did away with Don't Ask Don't Tell.

Obama's attack on Marriage between a man and a woman. Failure to enforce the law.

Obama has exceeded his executive powers; imperial presidency.

Obama has been the “Divider in Chief.” Consistently divides and attacks America on race and class warfare.

Unilaterally trying to Disarm America.

The U.S. already is on track to reduce to 1,550 deployed strategic nuclear warheads by 2018, as required by New START. As of last Sept. 1, the United States had 1,790 warheads and Russia had 1,566, according to treaty-mandated reports by each. The treaty does not bar either country from cutting below 1,550 on its own.

A level of 300 deployed strategic nuclear weapons would take the U.S. back to levels not seen since 1950 when the nation was ramping up production in an arms race with the Soviet Union. The U.S. numbers peaked at above 12,000 in the late 1980s and first dropped below 5,000 in 2003.

Nuclear stockpile numbers are closely guarded secrets in most states that possess them, but private nuclear policy experts say no countries other than the U.S. and Russia are thought to have more than 300. The Federation of American Scientists estimates that France has about 300, China about 240, Britain about 225, and Israel, India and Pakistan roughly 100 each.


Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said that the cuts to the Pentagon’s budget pose risks to the military’s capability to respond to threats
The Army is planning to cut at least eight brigades and 80,000 troops as it trims its budgets, US officials confirmed Wednesday.

The new brigade cuts, which will happen over several years, will reduce the number of Army troops to 490,000 from a high of 570,000. The cuts, first reported by The Associated Press, could reduce the number of brigades from 45 to as low as 32.

The Army’s force reduction has been expected by analysts, but the cuts are now getting finalized as part of the Pentagon’s 2013 budget, which is the first that will deal with a $487 billion reduction over the next decade.

The overall 2013 Pentagon base budget will be $524 billion, according to congressional officials and analysts, which is a reduction of $7 billion from the 2012 budget Congress approved last month.

The official U.S. unemployment rate has not been beneath 9 percent since April 2009.
First and foremost, the real story of Obama's weak jobs performance is about what the Bureau of Labor Statistics' unemployment number leaves out, or at least plays down.
And that's the 2.8 million discouraged American workers who want employment but can't find it and have given up looking. Under the BLS's perverse mathematics, these people are "not counted as in the labor force, even though they wanted and were available for work and had looked for a job in the prior 12 months," the agency said deep down in its report.
Thus, the government does not count them as among the unemployed, even though they are, well, unemployed.
If you add these 2.8 million discouraged workers, who are victims of Obama's failed economic policies, the real unemployment rate is a whopping 9.9 percent instead of the 8.3 percent the administration announced Friday.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, there are currently 6.3 million vacant homes in the United States that are either for sale or for rent.

It is being projected that the U.S. trade deficit with China could hit 270 billion dollars for the entire year of 2010.

The Chinese government has accumulated approximately $2.65 trillion in total foreign exchange reserves. They have drained this wealth from the economies of other nations (such as the United States) and instead of reinvesting all of it they are just sitting on much of it. This is creating tremendous imbalances in the global economy.

Since the year 2000, we have lost 10% of our middle class jobs. In the year 2000 there were approximately 72 million middle class jobs in the United States but today there are only about 65 million middle class jobs.

The United States now employs about the same number of people in manufacturing as it did back in 1940. Considering the fact that we had 132 million people living in this country in 1940 and that we have well over 300 million people living in this country today, that is a very sobering statistic.

The average home in Merced, California has declined in value by 63 percent over the past four years.

In 2010, 55 percent of Americans between the ages of 60 and 64 were in the labor market. Ten years ago, that number was just 47 percent. More older Americans than ever find that they have to keep working just to survive.

The U.S. government is somehow going to have to roll over existing debt and finance new debt that is equivalent to 27.8 percent of GDP in 2011.

Due to Obama Care 40 percent of all U.S. doctors plan to bail out of the profession over the next three years.

Experts say gas prices might hit $4 a gallon as more motorists hit the roads for Memorial Day weekend in May — the “unofficial” start of summer — and drive up demand. It’s a threshold not flirted with since last spring.

We need another Joe Wilson - An Attack on The First Amendment

U.S. Congressman Joe Wilson of the 2nd District of South Carolina, known for his "You lie!" outburst in the middle of Barack Obama's address to Congress. Talk of racism quickly emerged, even the "Establishment” Republicans through Joe under the Bus!

Since when is Truth a reason to throw Joe under the Bus?

I was in Savannah GA visiting my daughter and son in law before he was deployed to Afghanistan right after the Joe Wilson outburst, met him at a Tea Party event we attended. My son in law and I had our picture made with Joe. I encouraged Joe to continue on his stand for Truth and the American Ideas our founders laid out for us!

Time has shown what Joe Wilson said and what many other Americans thought was true.
What Obama was saying was a big fat lie!

We need another Joe Wilson moment!

Our Freedom and Liberty have slowly and methodically eroded under this President in the last 3 years.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”- First Amendment to the Constitution.

Let’s take the latest example. “Contraception” the attack on religious freedom!”
Mandatory insurance coverage for contraceptives, sterilizations and abortifacient drugs is an "attack" on religious freedom that Catholics must oppose, Archbishop Robert J. Carlson of St. Louis said.

"The Church cannot, and will not, be silent in the face of this grave threat to religious liberty and the sanctity of human life," Archbishop Carlson said in his Jan. 23 column for the St. Louis Review.

Mr. Obama did not win over the bishops. Timothy Dolan, the leader of the United States Conference of Bishops, “…today's proposal continues to involve needless government intrusion in the internal governance of religious institutions, and to threaten government coercion of religious people and groups to violate their most deeply held convictions.”

The issue here is not contraception; nor is it the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church. It is critical to see through the fog surrounding this and get to the essence:

Obama feels comfortable in decreeing to "We the People" what we can and must believe, we must buy, we must Act the Way he deems, regardless of the issue of the day.

Whether you are a practicing, devout Roman Catholic or an Atheist, whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, whether you are conservative or liberal, republican or democrat, the Executive Branch of your U.S. Federal Government has entered into a Battle of Liberty far beyond what anyone could ever imagine!

Excuse me Mr. President you are not a King or a Dictator and this is not your kingdom!

It is a fight between all Americans who believe in the God given right to worship as we please and express our religious preferences, and this White House, that believes it has the right to tell Catholics how they should worship. This is a constitutional battle!

Our constitutional liberties are under attack, and they will continue to be as long as we let our elected leaders get away with it they will attack!

Most people in America are Christian of one type or another, so when religious believers in America say that religion is under attack, what they likely mean is that they feel that their religion is under attack. In other words, the belief that religion is under attack in America can usually be read as the belief that Christianity is under attack in America.

Obama does not Like Business in America

Obama has a record of lining up against business; NLRB appointments that are pro union, The Boeing Fight in South Carolina, The loss of jobs after the BP Oil disaster by the roadblock by his administration. The EPA rules against everything, The Todd Frank Banking Bill, The latest block of an Oil Pipeline from Canada to Texas.

Obama wants to reorganize these agencies.
They are: the Commerce Department's core business and trade functions; the Small Business Administration; the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative; the Export-Import Bank; the Overseas Private Investment Corporation; and the Trade and Development Agency. The goal would be one agency designed to help businesses thrive.

What do all the agencies have in common? They are all Pro Business.

So this change is just another attack on Business in the USA.

Brendan Buck, spokesman for the House Speaker made this statement, "American small businesses are more concerned about this administration's policies than from which building in Washington they originate," "We hope the president isn't simply proposing new packaging for the same burdensome approach."

This is nothing more than a ploy by Obama in his re-election campaign to make it appear he wants to consolidate or “In-source Jobs.”

Look at his record Obama was not going to rest until he had the unemployment under control.

Parenting Guru: 10 things you may not know about military wives by Saralynne

1. When a deployment is imminent, we just want it to start. That doesn't mean we want our spouses to leave. We don't. But when the date has been set and our husband's bag is sitting half-packed in the corner of the bedroom, we start getting anxious, worried and a little bit angry. We think about the upcoming months and everything he's going to miss and everything we're going to have to do alone. It's overwhelming. Once they leave, we can start to tackle the challenges one at a time and that's so much easier than the waiting. But those last few weeks before he leaves are wrought with frustration, nervousness and a little fear.

2. We are not miserable the whole time they are gone. We don't like that our family is split up, but we can't live in the future or press a pause button on our life, so we focus on other things. Hobbies, children, visiting friends and family, work; our life is still full. Just not complete.

3. But there are tears right underneath the surface. Whenever our children do something new, or something exciting or sad happens, or even when there have been just too many nights that we've stayed in alone, we get really sad. And we can't always be sad because we don't want to upset the kids.

4. That being said, most of us like our lifestyle. We enjoy the adventure of moving every few years, starting over, making new friends and living in various parts of the country and world. We have close friends everywhere. It's stressful yes, but also exciting.

5. We rely on our friends a lot. Even when our husbands are home, we are used to be canceled on at the last minute, not knowing schedules until an hour before an event, or having a job take precedence over the family. So, we have friends who are reliable, patient, flexible and who make us laugh. We love and truly appreciate our friends. So do the kids.

6. Our children are well adjusted and okay. In fact, most of the time, they are amazing in their ability to see the silver lining in every challenge. From the beginning of their lives, they've moved around, started over and had a parent leave for huge amounts of time. We have lots of strategies to help them stay connected, and we analyze how to make each deployment as painless as possible on the children.

7. We don't need or want pity. We look for love, friendship and fun. We don't need you to say "I'm sorry," when we tell you our husbands are away. We knew what we signed up for when we got married. However, we'd be so grateful for a helping hand. Helping us with something that would normally take two people, like shoveling snow or even just bringing in our grill for the winter would be awesome and will relieve the stress a little.

8. Please don't ask us what we are going to do to "keep busy" when our husbands are gone. Just like you have a healthy relationship with things outside your marriage, so do we. We don't need to "keep ourselves entertained" or "find something to do to pass the time" while he's gone. Those comments are insulting. We will just continue to live our life. Yes, there will be a hole in it, but we will not be pining away for six months or a year. So don't try to give us projects or find stuff to keep us busy. We'll be fine.

9. There are romantic moments about military life that rival only the most dramatic movies. We've been spun around by a man in uniform after he hasn't seen us in months. We've seen our children run toward their daddy with pure glee and excitement. We've dressed up like royalty and attended military galas and we've watched ships pull into port, with sailors standing at attention around the perimeter.

10. And sometimes the civilian population can be so supportive and sweet that it just brings tears to our eyes. These moments are precious and get us through all the tough stuff. So thank you. We appreciate all the thoughts, good wishes and the extra stuff you do to make us feel better. We notice it. We see it. And it really does help.

Are We going to Argue or Fish?

When you examine the economic growth in North Dakota, the unemployment decrease, the pride, the Positive Outlook it gives the Country, Given the current state of our Economy How could anyone ignore this and make a decision not to do this because of the mating habits of the Buffalo or the Elk, or the spotted Owl. I looked at the protest that took place in Washington DC and all the protesters could say is they want green energy and the wanted Obama to stick to his promises.

I cannot conceive of anyone thinking we can flip a switch and go to green energy. The battery cars are a flop! Do you think a tractor trailer which moves the goods north, south, east and west can run on a battery and pull 80,000 pounds at 70 mph? The battery itself would be bigger than the trailer it would be pulling.

It will be over 100 years before fossil fuels can even begin to be phased out, if then. Let’s take what we have learned from space travel and apply it to transportation in this country, a novel idea!

Fourteen lawmakers called on President Barack Obama to delay a decision on the Canada-to-Texas Keystone oil sands pipeline, while Obama was interrupted in Denver on Wednesday by a protester opposing TransCanada Corp's project.

Senator Bernie Sanders, an independent who is one of the Senate's most liberal members, and Democratic Representative Steve Cohen were joined by 12 other congressional Democrats in asking for a delay until the State Department investigates alleged conflicts of interest over the project.

An analyst at the KBC consultancy in Houston, said the delay could scuttle the proposal. "To delay the decision on Keystone XL is in effect a decision itself," he said. "I think in all likelihood that a delay would kill the project."

A TransCanada spokesman said on Wednesday a delay would not make sense and would leave the United States dependent on tanker traffic and oil imports from the Middle East.
Some of Obama's liberal supporters have strongly opposed the project and delaying a decision could allow him to avoid antagonizing environmentalists disillusioned with his progress on climate change.
Cruz Construction started a division in North Dakota just 6
months ago.

They sent every Kenworth (9 trucks) we had here in Alaska to North Dakota
and several drivers.

They just bought two new Kenworth's to add to that fleet; one being a Tri
Drive tractor and a new 65 ton lowboy to go with it.

They also bought two new cranes (one crawler & one rubber tired) for that
division.

Dave Cruz said they have moved more rigs in the last 6 months in ND than
Cruz Construction moved in Alaska in the last 6 years.

Williston is like a gold rush town; they moved one of our 40 man camps down there since there are no rooms available.

Unemployment in ND is the lowest in the nation at 3.4 percent last I
checked.

Check THIS out: The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska 's Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable( 5
billion barrels), at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.

"When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their
jaws hit the floor.

They had no idea.." says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial
analyst.

"This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in
the past 56 years," reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

It's a formation known as the Williston Basin , but is more commonly
referred to as the 'Bakken.'

It stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada .

For years, U. S. oil exploration has been considered a dead end.

Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades
ago.

However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's
massive reserves, and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL !!!!!!

That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 2041 years years years straight.

I’m reminded of the joke that Jerry Clower told about his friend Clovis catching all kind of fish and the game warden wanted to see how he was catching fish when no one else can catch any. They row to the middle of the lake and Clovis lights a dynamite stick throws it in the lake and after the explosion, he nets the fish and puts them in the boat. Ok, let's just say for a moment you bunch pampered, overpaid, unrealistic children had your way and the U.S.A. didn't go into Iraq.

Let's say that you really get your way and we destroy all our nuclear weapons and stick daisies in our gun barrels and sit around with some white wine and cheese and pat ourselves on the back, proud of what we've done for world peace.

Let's say that we cut the military budget to just enough to keep the National Guard on hand to help out with floods and fires.

Let's say we close down our military bases all over the world and bring the troops home, increase our foreign aid and drop all the sanctions against everybody.

I suppose that in your fantasy world this would create a utopian world where everybody would live in peace. After all, the great monster, the United States of America, the cause of all the world's trouble would have disbanded its horrible military, and certainly all the other countries would follow suit.

After all, they only arm themselves to defend their countries from the mean old U.S.A.

Why you bunch of pitiful, hypocritical, idiotic, spoiled mugwumps. Get your head out of the sand and smell the Trade Towers burning! Do you think that a trip to Iraq by Sean Penn did anything but encourage a wanton murderer to think that the people of the U.S.A. didn't have the nerve or the guts to fight him?

New York City Mayor Bloomberg: No Clergy Participation in 9/11 Memorial Service -GOD IS SOVEREIGN

I guess we have heard it all now? Mayor Bloomberg is trying to regulate prayer in a ceremony to honor the heroes who died on 9/11.

Has America Lost its way?

I don’t think America has lost its way but I'm sure some of our leaders have!

Prayer has brought us through although state-sponsored prayer prohibited in schools in 1964. Prayer happens every time there is a test administered. No one can stop that!

The voices of God’s people have been crying out since 9/11.
Prayer helped us survive that tragedy.

Prayer helped us survive our government in creating the mortgage crisis that was a man-made government controlled, could have been avoided event. But greed intervened.

Prayer helped us survive the unlawful taking of people’s homes because banks are using forged documents to claim they own the house and leaving people homeless to start over while the rich banks illegally rob the American People. And the very people elected and put in office to protect us are hand in hand letting the banks defraud the American people.

Prayer helped us survive the 2008 man-made stock crash that created the current state of the economy.

Prayer helped us survive a government that ignores the will of the people that cry out STOP spending money yet raises the debt ceiling another $2 Trillion.

Prayer has helped us survive the government taking social security and using for other things and robbing the American people.

Prayer helps us everyday get through the seemingly endless barrage on our freedoms from you can’t have lemonade stand in your front yard to you can’t put an American Flag in your own yard.

Can you imagine the audacity and Gaul of a man who thinks he can regulate prayer at a memorial service?

I am reminded of the story of Moses with Pharaoh and how God hardened Pharaohs heart each time Moses asked to be freed, and each time a more severe plaque was put on the Pharaohs land until finally Pharaohs son was taken in death, and then finally God’s people were freed.

Some simple Truths are evident:
1. Delays magnify the Glory of God.
2. God will reveal himself to the unbelieving world and let them know who he is.
3. The unbelieving world will know that God is sovereign.
4. Greater Battles mean Greater victories.
5. Deeper warfare will strengthen our faith and resolve.

Let’s be clear Mayor Bloomberg is pro-mosque and anti-christian. St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, which once sat right across the street from the World Trade Center, was crushed under the weight of the collapse of Tower Two on September 11, 2001. St. Nicholas was the only church to be lost in the attacks, and nine years later, while City of New York officials are busy removing every impediment to the building of the Cordoba mosque two blocks from the site, St. Nicholas’ future remains unclear.

Mayor Bloomberg nor anyone else can regulate Prayer!

The Tea Party are not Terrorist, WE are Made in America!

I have been to several Tea Party events all over Tennessee, Kentucky, South Carolina, my brothers have attended them in Texas, Mississippi, Louisiana and I have watched many reports on TV. When I go to one of these rally’s what do I see. I see young and old tired of the lip service we get from Washington DC and some of our states; Politicians telling us one thing and doing something else!

When I go to a Tea Party event I hear we are spending too much money, Money we do not have unless the Federal Reserve Prints it! As a country we are on a collision course with insolvency. We are taxed too much as it is. The amount of debt we must pay back will take years unless we abruptly change!

How in the world can Washington DC tell the American People this Budget “deal” is a good deal? When we have just received the growth numbers for the GDP and we grew 1.3%...Yet the Baseline budget will increase 7.5% this year and next because that is the way you look at spending in Washington. Unemployment is at 9.2% and growing. The true underemployed and those given up searching is 18%-20%.

It is impossible to grow spending 7.5% while the economy is shrinking, the housing market is shrinking, the unemployment rate is rising, and the dollar is shrinking. The cost of everything I buy is going up, but the government does not count fuel and food prices in their inflation calculations. Why? Because it makes them look bad, it messes up their numbers…take those numbers out and they can tell you everything is OK with a straight face!

These pure American people you call ‘Terrorist’ are Fed UP with the direction of America and the destruction of the Morals and Values that were put forth in the Constitution. Our battlefront is the battle of ideas that agree with the founding of America.

These ideas are not radical! Their Right! The only people who have a gun to their head is the American people, when you have a mal-functioning group in Washington DC Liberals and RINO’s (Republican in Name Only) that manufacture crisis after crisis, everything is fire drill and we continue to kick the can down the road!

The only you did in this latest fiasco is your going to appoint a “committee” to decide what you’re going to cut and you say you’re going to have a vote on a balanced budget amendment sometime this fall!

You say their no Tax increases! When the Bush Tax cuts expire in 2013 the same year you are proposing cuts! What are they? Chopped Liver!

The Tea Party movement is an American populist political movement that is generally recognized as conservative and libertarian, and has sponsored protests and supported political candidates since 2009. It endorses reduced government spending, opposition to taxation in varying degrees, reduction of the national debt and federal budget deficit, and adherence to an originalist interpretation of the United States Constitution.

What is wrong with that? Nothing!

It is a view based on principle that the founding fathers would not let what is happening to this country, happen! The Judiciary does not write laws from the bench; it only upholds them! If they so choose to legislate they would be abolished by de-funding. Like Thomas Jefferson did with John Pickering having him impeached and removed from the bench in 1804. This should and will be done again!

The Tea Party has moved the debate with the ballot box. It will move it again and again until we get a President, A Senate, A House of Representatives, and Judges that believe in the Constitution of the United States as we do
Change something that counts and quit playing shell games!

Quit telling the American People you are doing something when you are not!

If you want to stay in Office abide by the constitution!

We Want a Balanced Budget and we want it NOW!

OK I listened to Obama last night and I listened to Speaker Boehner.

As I think about what I heard this is what I came away with:
Obama does not like the way things are going and he has tried to reason with the hard headed republicans, but they are being controlled with the hard headed Tea Partiers. So let me define the Tea Party: smaller government, spend within your means (balanced budget), Cut spending. Tax Less.
Pretty Simple concepts to understand! Get the government out of our lives!

Obama said many times last night we do not need a balanced budget amendment to rein in spending!

Obama has racked up more debt than several presidents combined in 2 ½ years. If I look back over all the times we have raised the debt limit. I see a lot of talk and no action for many presidents. For this President his walk and talk do not match! I do not trust his speech and I also cannot for the life of me understand how the liberals can defend a balanced budget as being radical?

President Obama has lost the debate and has lost the American People I do not care what the Polls show.

The 26th amendment (granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.

If the American People want a Balanced Budget Amendment it would not take 10 years to accomplish, it could be done in one! As a matter of fact why can’t we get it added to the ballot in 2012 to be ratified by each state?

So the Next President and the Next Congress would be controlled by Law and drastically cut the spending, and Take our Country back!

What is so radical about that? Nothing!

Conservatives do not renegotiate with your selves!

Keep your powder dry!

Stand by your Cut, Cap, and Balance!

It is the President and the Democrats who have not submitted a reasonable budget in 2 years!

We know where they stand so let the American People know where we stand!

Thomas Jefferson: A Most Remarkable Man

Thomas Jefferson was a very remarkable man who started learning very early in
life and never stopped.

At 5, began studying under his cousin's tutor.

At 9, studied Latin, Greek and French.

At 14, studied classical literature and additional languages.

At 16, entered the College of William and Mary.

At 19, studied Law for 5 years starting under George Wythe.

At 23, started his own law practice.

At 25, was elected to the Virginia House of Burgesses.

At 31, wrote the widely circulated "Summary View of the Rights of British
America " and retired from his law practice.

At 32, was a Delegate to the Second Continental Congress.

At 33, wrote the Declaration of Independence .

At 33, took three years to revise Virginia ’s legal code and wrote a Public
Education bill and a statute for Religious Freedom.

At 36, was elected the second Governor of Virginia succeeding Patrick Henry.

At 40, served in Congress for two years.

At 41, was the American minister to France and negotiated commercial treaties
with European nations along with Ben Franklin and John Adams.

At 46, served as the first Secretary of State under George Washington.

At 53, served as Vice President and was elected president of the American
Philosophical Society.

At 55, drafted the Kentucky Resolutions and became the active head of
Republican Party.

At 57, was elected the third president of the United States .

At 60, obtained the Louisiana Purchase doubling the nation’s size.

At 61, was elected to a second term as President.

At 65, retired to Monticello .

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.

At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as
its first president.

At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of
Independence along with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed
attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his
laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most
understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to
lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the
brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: "This is
perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the
White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone."

When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall

Thinking about these and other statements made by the man who wears the title of president. I keep wondering what country he believes he's president of.

In one of my very favorite stories, Edward Everett Hale's "The Man without a Country," a young Army lieutenant named Philip Nolan stands condemned for treason during the Revolutionary War, having come under the influence of Aaron Burr. When the judge asks him if he wishes to say anything before sentence is passed, young Nolan defiantly exclaims, "Damn the United States ! I wish I might never hear of the United States again!"

The stunned silence in the courtroom is palpable, pulsing. After a long pause, the judge soberly says to the angry lieutenant: "You have just pronounced your own sentence. You will never hear of the United States again.. I sentence you to spend the rest of your life at sea, on one or another of this country's naval vessels - under strict orders that no one will ever speak to you again about the country you have just cursed."

And so it was. Philip Nolan was taken away and spent the next 40 years at sea, never hearing anything but an occasional slip of the tongue about America.. The last few pages of the story, recounting Nolan's dying hours in his small stateroom - now turned into a shrine to the country he foreswore - never fail to bring me to tears. And I find my own love for this dream, this miracle called America , refreshed and renewed. I know how blessed and unique we are.

But reading and hearing the audacious, shocking statements of the man who was recently elected our president - a young black man living the impossible dream of millions of young Americans, past and present, black and white - I want to ask him, "Just what country do you think you're president of?"

You surely can't be referring to the United States of America , can you? America is emphatically a Christian nation, and has been from its inception! Seventy percent of her citizens identify themselves as Christian. The Declaration of Independence and our Constitution were framed, written and ratified by Christians. It's because this was, and is, a nation built on and guided by Judeo-Christian biblical principles that you, sir, have had the inestimable privilege of being elected her president.

You studied law at Harvard, didn't you, sir? You taught constitutional law in Chicago ? Did you not ever read the statement of John Jay, the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and an author of the landmark "Federalist Papers": " Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers - and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation - to select and prefer Christians for their rulers"?

In your studies, you surely must have read the decision of the Supreme Court in 1892: "Our lives and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian."

Did your professors have you skip over all the high-court decisions right up till the mid 1900's that echoed and reinforced these views and intentions? Did you pick up the history of American jurisprudence only in 1947, when for the first time a phrase coined by Thomas Jefferson about a "wall of separation between church and state" was used to deny some specific religious expression - contrary to Jefferson 's intent with that statement?

Or, wait a minute: were your ideas about America 's Christianity formed during the 20 years you were a member of the TrinityUnitedChurch of Christ under your pastor, Jeremiah Wright? Is that where you got the idea that " America is no longer a Christian nation"? Is this where you, even as you came to call yourself a Christian, formed the belief that " America has been arrogant"?

Even if that's the understandable explanation of your damning of your country and accusing the whole nation (not just a few military officials trying their best to keep more Americans from being murdered by jihadists) of "not always living up to her ideals," how did you come up with the ridiculous, alarming notion that we might be"considered a Muslim nation"?

Is it because there are some 2 million or more Muslims living here, trying to be good Americans? Out of a current population of over 300 million, 70 percent of whom are Christians? Does that make us, by any rational definition, a "Muslim nation"?

Why are we not, then, a "Chinese nation"? A "Korean nation"? Even a "Vietnamese nation"? There are even more of these distinct groups in America than Muslims. And if the distinction you're trying to make is a religious one, why is America not "a Jewish nation"? There's actually a case to be made for the latter, because our Constitution - and the success of our Revolution and founding - owe a deep debt to our Jewish brothers.

Have you stopped to think what an actual Muslim America would be like? Have you ever really spent much time in Iran ? Even in Egypt ? You, having been instructed in Islam as a kid at a Muslim school in Indonesia and saying you still love the call to evening prayers, can surely picture our nation founded on the Quran, not the Judeo-Christian Bible, and living under Shariah law. Can't you? You do recall Muhammad's directives [Surah 9:5,73] to "break the cross" and "kill the infidel"?

It seems increasingly and painfully obvious that you are more influenced by your upbringing and questionable education than most suspected. If you consider yourself the president of a people who are "no longer Christian," who have "failed to live up to our ideals," who "have been arrogant," and might even be "considered Muslim" - you are president of a country most Americans don't recognize.

All Americans should be given this lesson. Those who think that America is an arrogant nation should really reconsider that thought. Have you ever noticed the honor guard pays meticulous attention to correctly folding the United States of America Flag 13 times? You probably thought it was to symbolize the original 13 colonies, but we learn something new every day!

The 1st fold of the flag is a symbol of life.

The 2nd fold is a symbol of the belief in eternal life.

The 3rd fold is made in honor and remembrance of the veterans departing the ranks who gave a portion of their lives for the defense of the country to attain peace throughout the world.

The 4th fold represents the weaker nature, for as American citizens trusting in God, it is to Him we turn in times of peace as well as in time of war for His divine guidance.


The 5th fold is a tribute to the country, for in the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our Country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right; but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The 6th fold is for where people's hearts lie. It is with their heart that They pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States Of America , and the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for all.

The 7th fold is a tribute to its Armed Forces, for it is through the Armed Forces that they protect their country and their flag against all her enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of their republic.

The 8th fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day.

The 9th fold is a tribute to womanhood, and Mothers. For it has been through their faith, their love, loyalty and devotion that the character of the men and women who have made this country great has been molded.

The 10th fold is a tribute to the father, for he, too, has given his sons and daughters for the defense of their country since they were first born.

The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies in the Hebrews eyes, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies, in the Christians eyes, God the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit.

The 13th fold, or when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost reminding them of their nations motto, "In God We Trust."

After the flag is completely folded and tucked in, it takes on the appearance of a cocked hat, ever reminding us of the soldiers who served under General George Washington, and the Sailors and Marines who served under Captain John Paul Jones, who were followed by their comrades and shipmates in the Armed Forces of the United States, preserving for them the rights, privileges and freedoms they enjoy today.

There are some traditions and ways of doing things that have deep meaning. In the future, you'll see flags folded and now you will know why.

A Speech Every American High School Principal Should Give.... By Dennis

To the students and faculty of our high school:

I am your new principal, and honored to be so. There is no greater
calling than to teach young people.

I would like to apprise you of some important changes coming to our
school. I am making these changes because I am convinced that most of
the ideas that have dominated public education in America have worked
against you, against your teachers and against our country.

First, this school will no longer honor race or ethnicity. I could not
care less if your racial makeup is black, brown, red, yellow or white. I
could not care less if your origins are African, Latin American, Asian
or European, or if your ancestors arrived here on the Mayflower or on
slave ships.. The only identity I care about, the only one this school
will recognize, is your individual identity -- your character, your
scholarship, your humanity. And the only national identity this school
will care about is American.



This is an American public school, and American public schools were
created to make better Americans. If you wish to affirm an ethnic,
racial or religious identity through school, you will have to go
elsewhere. We will end all ethnicity, race and non-American
nationality-based celebrations. They undermine the motto of America ,
one of its three central values -- e pluribus Unum, "from many, one."
And this school will be guided by America 's values. This includes all
after-school clubs. I will not authorize clubs that divide students
based on any identities. This includes race, language, religion, sexual
orientation or whatever else may become in vogue in a
society divided by political correctness.

Your clubs will be based on interests and passions, not blood, ethnic,
racial or other physically defined ties. Those clubs just cultivate
narcissism -- an unhealthy preoccupation with the self -- while the
purpose of education is to get you to think beyond yourself. So we will
have clubs that transport you to the wonders and glories of art, music,
astronomy, languages you do not already speak, carpentry and more. If
the only extracurricular activities you can imagine being interested in
are those based on ethnic, racial or sexual identity, that means that
little outside of yourself really interests you.



Second, I am uninterested in whether English is your native language. My
only interest in terms of language is that you leave this school
speaking and writing English as fluently as possible. The English
language has united America 's citizens for over 200 years, and it will
unite us at this school. It is one of the indispensable reasons this
country of immigrants has always come to be one country. And if you
leave this school without excellent English language skills, I would be
remiss in my duty to ensure that you will be prepared to successfully
compete in the American job market. We will learn other languages here
-- it is deplorable that most Americans only speak English --but if you
want classes taught in your native language rather than in English, this
is not your school.

Third, because I regard learning as a sacred endeavor, everything in
this school will reflect learning's elevated status. This means, among
other things, that you and your teachers will dress accordingly. Many
people in our society dress more formally for Hollywood events than for
church or school. These people have their priorities backward.
Therefore, there will be a formal dress code at this school.

Fourth, no obscene language will be tolerated anywhere on this school's
property -- whether in class, in the hallways or at athletic events. If
you can't speak without using the f-word, you can't speak. By obscene
language I mean the words banned by the Federal Communications
Commission, plus epithets such as "Nigger," even when used by one black
student to address another black, or "bitch," even when addressed by a
girl to a girlfriend. It is my intent that by the time you leave this
school, you will be among the few your age to instinctively distinguish
between the elevated and the degraded, the holy and the obscene.

Fifth, we will end all self-esteem programs. In this school, self-esteem
will be attained in only one way -- the way people attained it until
decided otherwise a generation ago -- by earning it. One immediate
consequence is that there will be one valedictorian, not eight.

Sixth, and last, I am reorienting the school toward academics and away
from politics and propaganda. No more time will be devoted to scaring
you about smoking and caffeine, or terrifying you about sexual
harassment or global warming. No more semesters will be devoted to
condom wearing and teaching you to regard sexual relations as only or
primarily a health issue. There will be no more attempts to convince you
that you are a victim because you are not white, or not male, or not
heterosexual or not Christian. We will have failed if any one of you
graduates this school and does not consider him or herself inordinately
lucky -- to be alive and to be an American.

Now, please stand and join me in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of
our country. As many of you do not know the words, your teachers will
hand them out to you.

Remember March 25, 2010 when President Obama ditched Binyamin Netanyahu the Israel Prime Minister when he visited the White House and not pose for photographers, and left him to his own devices while the President withdrew to have dinner in private, a disastrous humiliation!

Netanyahu said such a withdrawal would jeopardize Israel’s security and leave major West Bank settlements outside Israeli borders. Israel‘s prime minister has rejected a key aspect of President Barack Obama’s policy speech, saying that a return to his country’s 1967 borders would spell disaster for the Jewish state.

Congressman Allen West said the Following:

"Today’s endorsement by President Barack Obama of the creation of a Hamas-led Palestinian state based on the pre-1967 borders, signals the most egregious foreign policy decision his administration has made to date, and could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state.

America should never negotiate with the Palestinian Authority- which has aligned itself with Hamas. Palestine is a region, not a people or a modern state. Based upon Roman Emperor Hadrian's declaration in 73 AD, the original Palestinian people are the Jewish people.

America had been Israel Ally for over 50 years this would deny the holiest place to Jews, the Western Wall in Jerusalem’s Old City.

Where does Iran stand? It sponsors Hezbollah and Hamas, Ahmadinejad is an outspoken critic of the United States, Israel, and United Kingdom. He abides by Iran's long-standing policy of refusing to recognize Israel as a legitimate state. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has made no bones about his intention to blow Israel off the map once he gets a nuclear bomb.

Why does Barack Obama hate Israel?

Cowboy Rules Work Good for Most Any Item You Want To Talk About..

Cowboy rules for:
Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana, Utah, Nebraska, Idaho, and the rest of the Wild West are as follows:

1. Pull your pants up. You look like an idiot.

2.. Turn your cap right, your head ain't crooked.

3. Let's get this straight: it's called a 'gravel road.' I drive a pickup truck because I want to. No matter how slow you drive, you're gonna get dust on your Lexus. Drive it or get out of the way.

4. They are cattle. That's why they smell like cattle. They smell like money to us. Get over it. Don't like it? I-10 & I-40 go east and west, I-17 & I-15 goes north and south. Pick one and go.

5. So you have a $60,000 car. We're impressed. We have $250,000 Combines that are driven only 3 weeks a year.

6. Every person in the Wild West waves. It's called being friendly. Try to understand the concept.

7. If that cell phone rings while a bunch of geese/pheasants/ducks/doves are comin' in during a hunt, we WILL shoot it outta your hand. You better hope you don't have it up to your ear at the time.

8. Yeah. We eat trout, salmon, deer and elk. You really want sushi and caviar? It's available at the corner bait shop.

9. The 'Opener' refers to the first day of deer season. It's a religious holiday held the closest Saturday to the first of November.

10. We open doors for women. That's applied to all women, regardless of age.

11. No, there's no 'vegetarian special' on the menu. Order steak, or you can order the Chef's Salad and pick off the 2 pounds of ham and turkey.

12. When we fill out a table, there are three main dishes: meats, vegetables, and breads. We use three spices: salt, pepper, and ketchup! Oh, yeah ... We don't care what you folks in Cincinnati call that stuff you eat... IT AIN'T REAL CHILI!!

13. You bring 'Coke' into my house, it better be brown, wet and served over ice. You bring 'Mary Jane' into my house, she better be cute, know how to shoot, drive a truck, and have long hair.

14. College and High School Football is as important here as the Giants, the Yankees, the Mets, the Lakers and the Knicks, and a dang site more fun to watch.

15. Yeah, we have golf courses. But don't hit the water hazards - it spooks the fish.

16. Turn down that blasted car stereo! That thumpity-thump ain't music, anyway. We don't want to hear it anymore than we want to see your boxers! Refer back to #1 and Rule #4 for Directions!

OBAMA wants us to cut the amount of gasoline we use.....

The best way to stop using so much gasoline is to deport 15 million illegal immigrants!

That would be 15 million less people using our gas.
The price of gas would come down.....
Bring our troops home from Afghanistan to guard the borders....

When they catch an illegal immigrant crossing the Border, hand him a canteen, rifle and some ammo and ship him to Afghanistan ....

Tell him if he wants to come to AMERICA then he must serve a tour in OUR military....

Give him a soldier's pay while he's there and tax him on it......

After his tour, he will be allowed to become a citizen since he defended this country.....
He will also be registered to be taxed and be a legal resident.....
This option will probably deter illegal immigration and provide a solution for the troops in Afghanistan and the aliens trying to make a better life for themselves. .......

If they refuse to serve, ship them to Afghanistan anyway, without the canteen, rifle or ammo.

Everyone concentrates on the problems we're having in Our Country lately:; Illegal immigration, hurricane recovery, alligators attacking people in Florida . . . .
Not me -- I concentrate on solutions for the problems -- it's a win-win situation.

* Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
* Send the dirt to New Orleans to raise the level of the levees.
* Put the Florida alligators in the moat along the Mexican border. Sounds like a workable plan !!!!
