"We are worried about 'the cow' when it is all about the 'Ice Cream.'
The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third grade this year...
The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed an interest.
I decided we would have an election for a class president.
We would choose our nominees. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.
To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.
We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should have.
We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run for the top spot.
The class had done a great job in their selections. Both candidates were good kids.
I thought Jamie might have an advantage because he got lots of parental support. I had never seen Olivia's mother.
The day arrived when they were to make their speeches.
Jamie went first.
He had specific ideas about how to make our class a better place. He ended by promising to do his very best.
Everyone applauded and he sat down.
Now is was Olivia's turn to speak.
Her speech was concise. She said, "If you will vote for me, I will give you ice cream." She sat down.
The class went wild. "Yes! Yes! We want ice cream."
She surely would say more. She did not have to.
A discussion followed. How did she plan to pay for the ice cream? She wasn't sure.
Would her parents buy it or would the class pay for it. She didn't know.
The class really didn't care. All they were thinking about was ice cream..
Jamie was forgotten...Olivia won by a landslide.
Every time Barack Obama opened his mouth he offered ice cream and 52 percent of the people reacted like nine year olds.
They want ice cream.
The other 48 percent know they're going to have to feed the cow and clean up the mess."
This is the ice cream Obama promised us!
Remember, the government cannot give anything to anyone --

STAY ALERT! They walk among us .... and they VOTE and REPRODUCE!

When my husband and I arrived at an automobile dealership to pick up
our car, we were told the keys had been locked in it. We went to the
service department and found a mechanic working feverishly to unlock the
driver side door. As I watched from the passenger side, I instinctively
tried the door handle and discovered that it was unlocked. 'Hey,' I
announced to the technician, 'it's open!' His reply: 'I know. I
already got that side.'
This was at the Ford dealership in Canton , MS
IDIOT SIGHTING
We had to have the garage door repaired.
The Sears repairman told us that one of our problems was that we did
not have a 'large' enough motor on the opener.
I thought for a minute, and said that we had the largest one Sears made
at that time, a 1/2 horsepower.
He shook his head and said, 'Lady, you need a 1/4 horsepower.' I
responded that 1/2 was larger than 1/4. He said, 'NO, it's not.' Four
is larger than two.'
We haven't used Sears repair since.

My daughter and I went through the McDonald's take-out window and I
gave the clerk a $5 bill. Our total was $4.25, so I also handed her a
quarter.
She said, 'you gave me too much money.' I said, 'Yes I know, but this
way you can just give me a dollar bill back. She sighed and went to
get the manager, who asked me to repeat my request. I did so, and he
handed me back the quarter, and said 'We're sorry but we could not do
that kind of thing.' The clerk then proceeded to give me back $1 and 75
cents in change.
Do not confuse the clerks at McD's.

I live in a semi rural area. We recently had a new neighbor call the
local township administrative office to request the removal of the DEER
CROSSING sign on our road. The reason: 'Too many deer are being hit by
cars out here! I don't think this is a good place for them to be
crossing anymore.'

I was crossing with an intellectually challenged coworker of mine. She

blind people when the light is red. Appalled, she responded, 'What on
earth are blind people doing driving?!'

HAVE YOU EVER DANCED?
An old prospector shuffled into the town of El Indio , Texas leading an
old tired mule. The old man headed straight for the only saloon in town,
to clear his parched throat. He walked up to the saloon and tied his old
mule to the hitch rail. As he stood there, brushing some of the dust
from his face and clothes, a young gunslinger stepped out of the saloon
with a gun in one hand and a bottle of whiskey in the other.
The young gunslinger looked at the old man and laughed, saying, "Hey old
man, have you ever danced?" The old man looked up at the gunslinger and
said, "No, I never did dance...never really wanted to."
A crowd had gathered as the gunslinger grinned and said, "Well, you old
fool, you're gonna' dance now," and started shooting at the old man's
feet. The old prospector, not wanting to get a toe blown off, started
hopping around like a flea on a hot skillet. Everybody was laughing, fit
to be tied. When his last bullet had been fired, the young gunslinger,
still laughing, holstered his gun and turned around to go back into the
saloon.
The old man turned to his pack mule, pulled out a double-barreled
shotgun, and cocked both hammers. The loud clicks carried clearly
through the desert air. The crowd stopped laughing immediately. The
young gunslinger heard the sounds too, and he turned around very slowly.
The silence was almost deafening. The crowd watched as the young gunman
stared at the old timer and the large gaping holes of those twin
barrels. The barrels of the shotgun never wavered in the old man's
hands, as he quietly said, "Son, have you ever kissed a mule's
backside?" The gunslinger swallowed hard and said, "No sir.... but...
I've always wanted to."
There are a few lessons for us all here;
- Never be arrogant.
- Don't waste ammunition.
- Whiskey makes you think you're smarter than you are.
- Always, always make sure you know who has the power.
- Don't mess with old men, they didn't get old by being stupid.

"In one year, the American people are witnessing the greatest lie that is cleverly orchestrated by President Obama and his whole administration.
The lie is a potent aggression that feeds the needs of people who either have not educated themselves enough to understand the assault upon us all or the very poor and needy who live to be taken care of.
President Obama feeds these people poison, giving them the idea that they are entitled to take from the wealthier who have lived and worked in a democracy that understands that capitalism is the only truth that keeps a nation healthy and fed.
Now the lie goes very deep and President Obama has been cleverly trained in the Alinsky method and it would be very important that every American knows what that method is. It is a socialistic, Marxist teaching and with it, little by little, he rapes this nation, taking down our defenses, making new language for the Islamic extremists. The world looked up to us as a symbol of hope and prosperity now wonders what will become of the entire world if America is losing its power.
The American people who understand exactly what is taking place have come together in the thousands, vowing to try to stay together as a unit of love and freedom for all men and women, from all walks of life, shivering to think that this once great nation will be a third world country.
This will be the first president to ever weaken the United States of America. President Obama uses his aggression and arrogance for his own agenda, against the will of the American people when he should be using his will and aggression against our enemies.
Every loving American for peace and truth and the security of our nation must come out and join the Tea Parties in their states. The opposition will continue their tactics; they will lie and plant their own bullies amongst us. Everyone must pay close attention to who stands next to them. We can weed out the liars and agitators. Let us all stay in Gods light. Let no man put asunder. We can and we will prevail. God bless us all!"

I am a Master Mason and believe in God.
I ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles, and believe in American products.
I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some liberal governmental functionary, Democratic or Republican!
I'm in touch with my feelings and I like it that way!
I think owning a gun doesn't make you a killer; it makes you a smart American.
I think being a minority does not make you noble or victimized, and does not entitle you to anything. Get over it!
I believe that if you are selling me a Big Mac, you should do it in English.
I believe everyone has a right to pray to his or her God when and where they want to.
My heroes are John Wayne, Babe Ruth, Roy Rogers, and Willie G. Davidson, who makes the awesome Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
I don't hate the rich.. I don't pity the poor.
I know wrestling is fake and I don't waste my time watching or arguing about it.
I've never owned a slave, or was a slave. I haven't burned any witches or been persecuted by the Turks, and neither have you! So, shut up already.
I believe if you don't like the way things are here, go back to where you came from and change your own country!
This is AMERICA ..We like it the way it is!
If you were born here and don't like it you are free to move to any Socialist country that will have you.
I want to know which church is it, exactly, where the Reverend Jesse Jackson preaches, where he gets his money, and why he is always part of the problem and not the solution.
Can I get an AMEN on that one?
I also think the cops have the right to pull you over if you're breaking the law, regardless of what color you are.
And, no, I don't mind having my face shown on my driver's license.
I think it's good.... And I'm proud that 'God' is written on my money.
I think if you are too stupid to know how a ballot works, I don't want you deciding who should be running the most powerful nation in the world for the next four years.
I dislike those people standing in the intersections trying to sell me stuff or trying to guilt me into making 'donations' to their cause......Get a Job and do your part!
I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child, it takes two parents..
I believe 'illegal' is illegal no matter what the lawyers think.
I believe the American flag should be the only one allowed in AMERICA !
If this makes me a BAD American, then yes, I'm a BAD American.

As the Bible Speaks we should listen....
From a minister's wife:
We were in slow-moving traffic the other day and the car in
front of us had an Obama bumper sticker on it. It read:
"Pray for Obama. Psalm 109:8".
My husband's Bible was lying on the dash board, he got it
opened it up to the scripture and read it. He started laughing
and laughing. Then he read it to me. I couldn't believe what
it said. I had a good laugh, too.
Psalm 109:8
"Let his days be few; and let another take his place of leadership."
At last - I can voice a Biblical prayer for our president!
Look it up - it is word for word! Let us all bow our heads and pray.

Health Care Bill Draining U.S. Based companies of Profits
Remember the scene President Obama standing in front of the camera's the day after he signed the new Health Care Bill into law, saying nobody pulled the plug on grannie, insurance rates did not sky rocket, the economy did not collapse. The President and his Democart cronnies are doing their best to put America to sleep that everything is going to be OK but it is not! We are begining to see the fall.

CHICAGO, March 31, 2010 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Boeing (NYSE: BA) today announced that it expects to recognize an income tax charge of approximately $150 million as a result of the recently enacted Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, as modified by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act. Beginning in 2013, Boeing will no longer be able to claim an income tax deduction related to prescription drug benefits provided to retirees and reimbursed under the Medicare Part D retiree drug subsidy. Although this tax increase does not take effect until 2013, accounting standards require that a deferred income tax asset be written down in the period legislation changing the tax law is enacted.
The charge is expected to reduce net earnings by approximately $150 million, or $0.20 per share, in the first quarter of 2010 as an increase to income tax expense and a reduction to the deferred income tax asset. Cash impacts of this charge will be realized over many years beginning in 2013.
This impact was not contemplated in the guidance issued by the company on January 27, 2010. Guidance will be updated when results for the first quarter are released.
AT&T said Friday it would record a $1 billion non-cash charge for the current quarter related to the new U.S. health care reform law, as lawmakers called on the company and three other large employers to testify about expected cost hikes.
AT&T's charge appeared to be the largest in a series of charges announced by U.S. companies this week. A House Energy and Commerce subcommittee said on Friday it will call on the chief executives of AT&T, Caterpillar, Verizon and John Deere to testify on April 21 about how the reform might adversely affect their ability to provide health insurance.
"The new law is designed to expand coverage and bring down costs, so your assertions are a matter of concern," the subcommittee said in the letters.
AT&T, whose annual revenue is expected to be $124.1 billion this year, said the charge is the result of a provision in the law related to the tax treatment of Medicare subsidies. As a result of the legislation, the company, which ended 2009 with 282,000 employees, said it will be evaluating prospective changes to the health care benefits it offers to employees at retirees.
Under the health care overhaul large ranks of retirees can no longer deduct from their taxes the subsidies paid by the federal government for retiree drug benefits.
Nobody was allowed to see the bill until it was too late. U.S. Companies are now discovering just how bad it is going to hurt!
Rate changes for insurance providers will not take effect until around January 1, 2011.
