This week President Obama eagerly announced his support for new offshore drilling.
But for Brazil! Not the U.S.!
A new deep water permit was issued on Feb. 28 2011 after the Obama administration imposed a temporary ban on drilling at depths greater than 500 feet shortly after the BP disaster. The moratorium was officially lifted last October, but until last month, no new deepwater permits had been approved.
BP Plc, whose Macondo well blowout in the Gulf of Mexico caused the worst offshore oil spill in U.S. history last year, co-owns the well that was granted the first deepwater drilling permit since the disaster.
BP is Noble Energy Inc’s partner in the well, holding a 46.5 percent interest, BP said. Noble operates the Santiago well that received a permit from U.S. regulators on Monday to resume drilling in the Mississippi Canyon area of the Gulf, about 70 miles south of the Louisiana coast.
The U.S. Government Loaned Mexican Government More Than $1 Billion to Drill Oil in Gulf of Mexico Last Year 2010; Has $1 Billion More Planned For This Year 2011.
The U.S. Export-Import Bank, an independent federal agency, loaned more than $1 billion to the Mexican state oil company PEMEX in 2009 to support the company’s oil drilling in the southern Gulf of Mexico.
Yes, you read that right. During a visit to Brazil, President Obama applauded Brazil's decision to drill offshore for oil and gas, the very action that he and his administration have worked tirelessly to ban and restrict in the United States. The President also backed up his support with a promise of U.S. federal financing to help fund Brazil's drilling operations that will create thousands of new jobs in Brazil.
President Obama said that he wants the United States to be one of Brazil's "best customers" when Brazil's new oil and gas supplies come online.
Why does President Obama want to be one of Brazil's best customers of oil and gas when there are millions of Americans who would be eager to be the best customers of new supplies of oil and gas produced by workers in Louisiana, Alaska, and Virginia?
Meanwhile, gasoline and diesel prices in the United States are skyrocketing. Rigs are leaving the Gulf of Mexico and signing contracts with other countries. President Obama's drilling moratorium last summer and the subsequent refusal to issue new drilling permits caused the loss of at least 20,000 jobs. And domestic production of oil will drop by 220,000 barrels per day in 2011.
This is Obama‘s way of cutting US Jobs and sending them to Brazil One Wall Street analyst has a very dire projection about the economic effects of the BP oil spill. David Kotok, the co-founder and chief investment officer of Cumberland Advisors, a Sarasota, Florida-based investment advisory firm, has projected that the spill will cost 1 million permanent jobs in the next five years.
So, our fearless leader will loan money to Mexico to Drill in the Gulf, He will encourage Brazil to Drill Baby Drill!

The Middle East is on Fire! Japan is Hurting! American People are Hurting!
But Obama can play golf, host parties, jump on Governors that are doing what he should be doing in Washington, read a teleprompter, and pick his final four, go on vacation!
But in 1 calendar year Obama has said what he faces is an “unprecedented” task 129 times to describe the job he has???
And he has said. “Let me be perfectly clear” 132 times! When he says this we really pay attention?#%&?#$%!!
President Obama “let me perfectly clear” it is “unprecedented” how lackadaisical you take your job as President of the United States given the results we see after two years that I listed above!
And I‘ve heard it before “you will not rest” until you get every America back to work and our economy is back on tract! I know that is true because of the 61 times you have played golf since you took office. George Bush played 32 rounds in 8 years.
But in Obama’s America he only enforces the laws he agrees with and only does what he wants to do.
President Obama your not a King!
Your actions are unprecedented and perfectly clear!
America and the World is crumbling Right before our eyes!
